Batch 16 is Laphroaig’s most powerful expression within the Cask Strength family, characterised by a 58.5% ABV and notes of vanilla and sea salt intermingled with hints of freshly ground black pepper and pork crackling. A dram poured neat will fill the nose with aromas of sweet apples and caramelised pastry, underpinned with a tang of cereal and tanned leather notes.
