The Original is Meikle Tòir’s classic single malt that truly champions their peated pursuit. Made with mainland peat from St. Fergus, the flavour contribution is sweeter than that anticipated of coastal peat. The toast level of the virgin oak casks will add a lovely layer of vanilla and toffee flavours which, when intwined with the spicy contribution from the rye casks, will give the perfect balance of sweet spiciness and peat smoke.
