Rules & Regulations – Contest Closes July 31, 2020 8:00 pm PST
QUALIFIED ENTRANT. The ‘Summer Backyard Prize Package’ Contest is open to residents of British Columbia, minimum 19 years of age . Employees of Hillside Centre Holdings Inc. C/O Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP, employees of all Hillside Shopping Centre, employees of contest sponsors, as well as family and household members of same who reside at the same address are not eligible to participate.
HOW TO ENTER. No Purchase Required. Entrants may enter the contest ONCE ONLY ONLINE by filling out the appropriate entry form available online at hillsidecentre.com. All entries must be received Friday, July 31, 8:00 PM. Note: E-Newsletter ‘ShopTalk’ subscribers will receive an additional entry to win a ‘Summer Backyard Prize Package’ as part of our customer loyalty initiative. The E-Newsletter will be sent to subscribers AFTER July 15. To receive the additional entry one must sign-up for the E-Newsletter ‘ShopTalk’ by Wed. July 15, 2020.
Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified.
CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest Period runs from 10:00 AM on Monday, June 29 until the contest closes at 8:00 PM on Friday, July 31 or on such other date and time as posted by the Contest Producers. The draw(s) will occur on Tuesday, August 4 2 prior to 6:00 PM and the winner(s) will be notified by either email, telephone or through Facebook. Selected winner(s) will be given 72-hours from the time of notification to claim their prize by contacting Hillside Shopping Centre, email or by Facebook message. If prize is not claimed within 72 hours, Hillside Shopping Centre will re-draw from the entry list and a new winner(s) will be selected.
DRAW PRIZE. The draw prize will consist of 1 ‘Summer Backyard Prize package’ provided by Hillside Centre and Canadian Tire. Upon entering the contest online, the entrant must select from the 3 prize packages: Backyard Oasis, Condo Comfort or Fun and Games. The prize package selected is the prize package the entrant will win. The entrant can not change their mind and select another prize package. Entrants can only win one (1) prize package. One (1) prize package per person per family. Family is defined as those living under the same address. The winner is selected randomly. The prize package includes what is featured in each prize package and online. The prize must be accepted as awarded. No substitutions, no returns, no cash value.
Contest winner is responsible for collection of the prize and the transportation of the prize package. Winner(s) will be required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization form before the prize package is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to let Hillside Shopping Centre use their photo and name for marketing purposes in relation to this contest.
OTHER CONDITIONS. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. If the winning entrant has an option at any time during this contest, he/she agrees that their selected option is final and binding. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize.
By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, Hillside Centre Holdings Inc. C/O Bentall Kennedy (Canada) LP., any company affiliated with Bentall Kennedy, any retailer or agency operating in Hillside Shopping Centre , any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant.
Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
