Enter the ‘Pick a Pack’ Fall/BtS $500 Hillside Shopping Spree 

Rules & Regulations – Contest Closes Sunday September 13, 2026 11:59pm PST

QUALIFIED ENTRANT. The ‘Pick a Pack’ Fall/BtS $500 Hillside Shopping Spree’ is open to residents of British Columbia. Employees of Hillside Centre Holdings Inc. C/O BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP, employees of all Hillside Shopping Centre, employees of contest sponsors, as well as family and household members of same who reside at the same address are not eligible to participate.

HOW TO ENTER. No Purchase Required. The ‘Pick a Pack’ Contest includes the ‘Instant Win’ contest which includes small prizes max. value $10.00 Entrants that play ‘Instant Win’ are automatically enter to win the $500. Hillside Shopping Spree. Play the online ‘Instant Win’ contest once every calendar day per email address. The  ‘Instant Win’ contest runs August 24 – September 13, 2026. Entrants that play ‘Instant Win’ online game will automatically be entered to win the $500 Hillside Shopping Spree. All entries must be received at Hillside Shopping Centre by Sunday, September 13, 11:59 PM.

Entrant and Entry must meet all Contest Conditions as outlined herein. Entry and/or Entrant not meeting Contest Conditions will be disqualified and prize will be forfeited. Facsimiles, copies or entries received by mail will be disqualified.

CONTEST PERIOD. The Contest Period runs online from 9:30am Monday, August 23 until the contest closes at 11:59 pm on Sunday, September 13, 2026. Any Facebook user who enters the contest online, agrees to the rules and regulations as outlined here. The winner is selected from a random draw. The draw will occur the week of Monday, September 14, 2026. The winner will be notified by either email, telephone or through Facebook. Selected winner will be given 72-hours from the time of notification to claim their prize by contacting Hillside Shopping Centre, email or by Facebook message. If prize is not claimed within 72 hours, Hillside Shopping Centre will re-draw from the entrees list and a new winner(s) will be selected.

DRAW PRIZE. The draw prize will consist of: 1 prize package – valued at $500. The $500 prize package consists of Hillside Gift Cards. The gift cards are subject to the rules and regulation applied to the Hillside Centre Gift Card program by the provider EML Payments.   

Contest winner is responsible for collection of the prize and will be required to present valid photo identification and complete a Winner’s Authorization Form before prize is released. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the winner, and prize will become the property of the Contest Producers.

By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to have Hillside Shopping Centre use their photo and name for marketing purposes in relation to this contest.

INSTANT WIN VERIFICATION. All Instant Win prizes are subject to verification by the Sponsor and/or Contest Administrator. The Sponsor’s and Contest Administrator’s contest database, system logs and records shall be the official and authoritative records for determining whether an eligible Instant Win has occurred and, in the event of any discrepancy, shall govern.

Any message, screen, screenshot, image, email, notification or other representation indicating that an entrant has won does not, on its own, constitute proof of winning or entitlement to a prize. A prize will only be awarded where the corresponding winning entry is recorded and verified within the official Contest database.

Any altered, manipulated, fabricated, artificially generated or otherwise fraudulent documentation or representation of a winning entry will be considered invalid and may result in disqualification, at the Sponsor’s sole discretion, subject to applicable law.

Potential winners are not confirmed winners until their eligibility, winning entry and compliance with these Official Contest Rules have been successfully verified by the Sponsor or Contest Administrator.

OTHER CONDITIONS. Contest Producers reserve the right to substitute any prize or portion thereof with one of equal or greater value. Prizes must be accepted as awarded. If the Winning Entrant has an option at any time during this contest, he/she agrees that their selected option is final and binding. In making the prize available to a Winning Entrant, the Contest Producers make no representations or warranties whatsoever, either expressed or implied, oral or written, in respect to any prize.

By entering, all contestants release and agree to hold harmless, Hillside Centre Holdings Inc. C/O BentallGreenOak (Canada) LP., any company affiliated with Bentall Kennedy, any retailer or agency operating in Hillside Shopping Centre , any of their respective directors, officers, employees and agents of all such parties and any prize suppliers (collectively, the “RELEASED PARTIES”) from and against any and all liability for any injuries, damages to persons (including death), damages to personal property or any other loss whatsoever (collectively “LOSSES”) caused directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by the contestant’s participation in the contest, including but not limited to Losses arising from: (a) the contestant’s acceptance, use or misuse of any prize awarded in the contest; (b) any act or omission made by any Released Party, third party (including any other Contestant) or the contestant himself / herself; (c) any latent or apparent defect or condition in any equipment used in the contest; (d) any previous medical condition of the contestant; (e) the administration of any first-aid, medical or emergency treatment or other services rendered to the contestant; and/or (f) the consumption of food or drink by the contestant.

Contest Producers are not responsible for lost, misplaced, misdirected, illegible or damaged entries, or entries submitted after the contest deadline. Contest producers are not responsible for lost gift cards. Contest Producers may at their sole discretion alter, amend, suspend, or cancel this contest or amend the Contest Conditions at any time. Decisions of Contest Producers are final. Contest Producer has the right to publish the name, location and recent photograph of a winner without remuneration. All Entrants must meet and comply with all Contest Conditions. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification and prize forfeit.
