The 5000 grit Naniwa Traditional Stone is a very fine stone and a good choice for the final finishing and polishing of knives. If you find that the other Naniwa sharpening stone are too soft for your liking, a Traditional Stone is somewhat harder and will therefore not dish as quickly as other Naniwa sharpening stones. This stone is an allrounder and as such suitable for virtually all tool steels.
