Apply this paste to your strop in order to sharpen your straight razor, rather than simply hone it which only corrects the alignment of the edge. Put this paste into the canvas side of your strop, and strop your razor as you would on the leather side. When satisfied, strop the razor on the leather side, and enjoy the freshness of the blade. Ice Red Strop Paste is a medium grit , used to begin polishing up a new but coarse edge. Note that once you apply this paste to your strop, you cannot put another paste of a different grit into the same strop. One paste per strop.
