We’re very pleased to share the recent public health announcement made March 10, 2022 with respect to COVID-19 Safety Protocols.
As per (BC Provincial Health Officer) Dr. Bonnie Henry’s March 10th announcement, most COVID Safety Protocols have been lifted including wearing a face mask in the shopping centre. The food court and retailer stores can return to full capacity.
Please note that retailers/services are open at 10 AM. Some retailers/services are open before 10 AM and some after 6 PM. We encourage you to please check with individual retailer(s).
Your health and safety continues to be our top priority and our retailers will continue their regular cleaning.
To protect yourself and others, we ask that anyone who is feeling unwell to please refrain from visiting the shopping centre. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your return visit!
Using hand hygiene regularly and staying away when sick remain important public health guidelines.
Please remember, “We need to respect that people need to go at their own pace, and businesses will need to go at their own pace, depending on their own risk,” said Henry. There will be retailer staff and customers that choose to wear a face mask. Please respect their decision.

Shopping Centre Entrances: All shopping centre entrances are open. We recommend using the touchless ‘wave’ door opener panel located on all main entrances into the centre. Hand sanitizer is also located at all main mall entrances.
The Guest Services desk is now open to serve you! Children’s strollers and wheelchairs/walkers, are available for use. Electronics re-charging station is located in the lower food court. Gift cards are available for purchase at Guest Services.

Increased Cleaning and Hygiene Practices
Hillside Centre will continue our enhanced cleaning procedures including increased frequency of disinfecting common surfaces i.e. door handles as well as washrooms.
Hand sanitizer stations are located at the shopping centre entrances and throughout. Please use them.
Encouraging anyone who feels unwell, both employees and customers, to please refrain from visiting the shopping centre until you are well to do so.
Employees with any flu-like symptoms are being asked to remain at home.
Curb-Side Pick-Up
Due to COVID-19, we recognize that some customers may still not be comfortable returning to the shopping centre. To assist with this possibility, Hillside Centre will continue to offer curb-side pick-up for participating retailers.
For a list of participating retailers offering curbside pick-up please visit Guest Services. When the customer arrives at the designated parking stall, located across from SportChek, the customer will call the retailer directly notifying the retailer you are at the shopping centre. The pre-paid parcel will be delivered to them, i.e. placed in their trunk.

If you are not feeling well, showing flu-like symptoms please do not visit Hillside Centre until you are feeling better.
Good hygiene practices include regularly washing your hands using soap and water. Use the hand sanitizing stations often. Avoid touching your face.
Please discard used tissues immediately and wash your hands with soap and water.
